St. Joe Tournament results

The NFGFC May 5, 2012 Tournament was held on St. Joe bay and like always St. Joe produced some big fish.

The 1st place team of Steve Stinson, Andrew Stinson and Ron Rogers weighed 5 trout in at 13.01 lbs. This won them $175.00.Great job.

2nd place team of Trevor Moncrief, Justin Beall and Marc Moncrief weighed 5 trout in at 13.00lbs that earned them $105.00. They also took home the Red/Trout combo side pot with a combined weight of 12.05lbs which won them $ 70.00. This Trio also took the Kevins fine Guns and sporting goods $50.00 gift card with a flounder weighing 2.09lbs.

3rd place team of Seth Oaks and Bill Scarberry weighed in 5 trout at 12.65lbs. This won them $70.00. They also won the largest trout side pot with a 5.46lb trout. This earned them $145.00.

Meridian Surveying & Mapping Mystery fish pot was won by the Team of George Good son, Jeff Rainey and Jimmy Milton with a lady fish weighing 2.06lbs which earned them $50.00.

The Redfish side pot was won by the team of John Wiley, Bo Spring, Wes Fisher and Zac Childs. They weighed a 5.21lb redfish that earned them $210.00.

In my opinion the scales were fluctuating way to much and our weight was way to close to not have a second look. . I know its not a "big" tournament by any means but I do think it deserved a second look. And Showboat, Sadly no, I did not enter the redfish pot but the redfish weighed 7.4 lbs and the trout was about 5lbs. Kinda kicking myself now for not entering into it...
