Keaton Beach 5/20

Post by gandergrinder »

Headed north out of Keaton Beach Sunday morning. Managed 15 trout with the biggest at 21". Also caught 1 redfish at 24 1/4". Released all of them! Most of the trout and the red were caught on live pinfish under a cork, and a few trout were caught on Gulp jerk shads. It was WINDY to say the least, but the bite was steady all day. Water temps were 78-79 degrees.

What size pinfish you using? We have had hardly any luck on live pinfish lately. That's a nice haul of fish.

Hit-n-miss...Most of the pinfish were about the size of a half dollar, some were just a little bit bigger.
