Customer Service Rocks!!

Post by Ranaman »

I've been known to do what my friend Larry and I call profesional whining to a number of manufactures and with great results free shoes, garbage can lids, even a fishing reel from one manufacture that just plain made it right for me after one of thier "approved" service centers screwed up a repair. Larry has gotten free livewell pumps on a boat thats's 6 years old, so much other stuff I can't even begin to recall just from writing or calling the manufacture and saying "hey what the heck, this shouldn't happen, this shouldn't have broken, what you going to do for me??" and bam new stuff in the mail! but below is the best response I've ever gotten so quickly for doing almost NOTHING I tell you I didn't do anything but fill out a form online and this is the response I got not an hour later via email!!!

Customer Service Shop Vac Corporation Joe: Your vac is in warranty, I'm sending out the head assy, at n/c. It's the motor, cord, and switch. everyhting but the top cover. Don't get rid of anything untill you receive the replacement part. It will take 7 to 10 days to arrive by fedex. You don't have to send back the old head assy. The replacement part number is 8122197. The order number is 994---. If you have any question, call customer service at 877-236-5750. Have a great day!

As you can see its from Shop Vac mine just quit working an I imagine its over 2 years old!! SO dont' throw it out until you call the manufacture or at least email someone we have WAY to much junk hitting the land fils that could be fixed or repaired!! GOOD day! Hope every one had a happy memorial Day and thanks to those that serve!! salute3

Nothing is made to last anymore. Manufacturers know that. They know only a few will complain, most will just go buy more chinese made junk.

The biggest crapola I have seen lately is the Obama administration and the Light Bulb companies telling us to by these new lights that will cost 50 bux and last 20 years. Well, I looked at the warranty on one the other day. One year! So, got any more smoke you wanna blow up my arse Obummer and bulb manufacturers?

So, I went to Lowes a while back and bought me 4 cases of 100 watt light bulbs before they are extinct. Not close to 50 bux for all 4 cases...

Stand behind your products, or bye bye....

Bought some so called long lasting halogen bulbs from Sam's about 5 months ago. Came 4 to the pack. The last one blew this week. So much for 20 years, so much for 1 year, so much for 6 months.

Another liberal screw job. Thanks Obummer and yes, you can keep your change on the way out!
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

The best customer service I have experienced lately is otterbox. I called to ask them of I could buy another outer rubber shell because mine had stretched out from being kept in my pocket. They sent me a whole case free! Those folks are great and really stand behind their stuff.

Took a 20 year old craftsman ratchet with stripped gears into sears. walked right out with a refurb, no hassle, just hear ya go.

just sent off a busted leatherman yesterday, that should come back shortly.

I'm wearing a pair of doc martins I bought in '96, sent back one time in about 2001, sent me a new pair.

I don't mind paying more for a company that stands behind their product. Merely telling me they will guarantee it forever tells me they don't expect it to break.

I've also had a Kershaw knife for the last 10 years, its been back twice, and they fixed it no questions asked, not cost, just send it to them.
