May we never forget!
When I had the wonderful opportunity to become a member of the 82nd Airborne Division in the fall of 1968 there were three veterans of the 82nd's initial D-Day airborne assault still serving with the division.
They were truly awesome, duly honored and very humble men.

Thanks to all for their courage and sacrifice. They truly saved our way of life.
It's too bad there aren't more like them now and sadly their ranks are dwindling every day.
