Re: NFGFC JUNE 9th ROLL CALL
weather is looking good I'm saying no chance of cancellation
Re: NFGFC JUNE 9th ROLL CALL
good luck guys. I'm out. If the weather holds I'll be chasing tuna; otherwise we'll be fighting our way towards snapper and groupers
In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. And we will understand only what we are taught.

A slight chance of a light shower. Just enough to keep us cool.

Guess we will find out who the real fishermen are in the morning.
Glad this is not a RT Shootout.

Re: NFGFC JUNE 9th ROLL CALL
I left before awards, but I can tell you my 6.40lb red was no better than third (6.98 and 6.50 were biggest I saw). Lots of folks brought fish in, and I know it took over 11.5 lbs of slots to win. Winning bluefish was over 4lbs, and a dinky flounder won. I think the redtrout combo win was 8.73lbs (6.50/2.33). Sorry I didn't get any names. I'm sure the winners will be happy to fill in the blanks.
JumpTrout was winner of my first ever fresh mullet giveaway (I almost always get a few smokers while netting bait). I will try to make this a monthly award, to be given to an entrant who doesn't finish in the money (winner will be determined by rock/paper/scossors next time).
Props to all who toughed it out!
