Same unit as seen in the eBay link, except black. Sells for $359 new. I bought this one in 09/2011. I've had it mounted under my poling platform.
Works great and is plenty loud, but most of the time I'm running a generator, so I never get to use the radio.
$200

You're right, that is a dumb question.MudDucker wrote:I know this is a dumb questions, but has it been exposed to saltwater?

That would be the reason I opted for the "Marine Grade" radio and speakers.
Yes, the radio has been exposed to salt air. However, since my boat has not sunk lately, no it hasn't been exposed to "saltwater".
This radio is on my gigging boat. I rarely get more than 10 yards off the shoreline, rarely in water over 3 ft, and winds more than 10 knots, so there is a VERY small chance that saltwater spray has ever touched this system. And if water did splash on it, its dark at night, so I wouldn't have seen it anyways.

You are running a mudmotor and this thing is attached below a poling platform right next to this mudmotor and you don't know if it got wet. Did you say it was dark or that you are blind?bbb wrote:You're right, that is a dumb question.MudDucker wrote:I know this is a dumb questions, but has it been exposed to saltwater?![]()

I'll go the $200 if you throw in a gigging trip for me and a couple of my buds.

I don't know about your Mud Buddy, but a Go Devil prop throws water AWAY from the boat. Only time my motor gets wet is when it rains.MudDucker wrote:You are running a mudmotor and this thing is attached below a poling platform right next to this mudmotor and you don't know if it got wet.
