Econfina 6/3/12
Sorry for the late post but still need to share. I fished out of the Econfina on Sunday (6/3/12) with my 5 year old son and a friend of mine. My son caught his first ever trout (all by himself). Before this trip, he would only want to fish for pinfish. After Sunday's trip, I think I will have to hire a new pinfish catcher. lol You gotta love taking kid's fishing.

As good as it gets !
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

That's how the obsession starts...

Re: Econfina 6/3/12
Life just doesn't get any better than that.
I grew up fishing in farm ponds with my Grandaddy. I could sense his mild frustration at my insistance on calling them "orange bellies" when he knew full well the proper term was "red bellies" (hey, they WERE orange). I lost my Grandaddy when I was 8. One might imagine how I feel about those memories.
Congrats on bringing another one into the fold
