Dock, I can't give you any names because its been a while, but the Chandeleur Islands used to be a sweet inshore excursion out in the middle of the GOM south of Biloxi. Boat would leave the casino at night. We would wake up anchored on the flats of the Chandeleur Islands. After breakfast they would set you off in little two-man skiffs. The trout and red drum fishing was phenomenal. Spend another night on the boat, fish the next morning, and be back at the casino for supper. Prolly a longer charter than you are looking for, but man, it was cool. I hear Hurricane Katrina really tore up the Chandeleur Islands, and I know the BP oil spill hit it pretty hard, too. Still, I heard the fishery is back.
To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.

That sounds like a blast. Wish I had that much time.

I been out several times with "Big Fish Charters", Cpt. Dustin Trochesset, 228-860-0189. Short trips out in the bay chasing redfish and trout. Same situation. My wife loves the Beaux and I love to fish. Small center console, half day trips, and best of all, just short walk to the park past the Hard Rock.

Good times, good luck.
