I don't think it looks too good to be true...seems about right.
Re: anyone see anything wrong with this?
My only thoughts would be the size of the engine. Check to see what it's rated for and the width but I'm guess it'd be rated for between a 40 and a 50. 25 would seem a bit underpowered to me by the time you add gear and a second person.

Re: anyone see anything wrong with this?
I would go buy it. I ran a 16' Lowe jon boat with a 25 hp Mariner 2 stroke on it for several years. It was one of the best boats I've owned. Very low maintenance and would go anywhere. The only thing you have to watch is the wind picking up.
I don't think this is underpriced either.

Also - Most scammers are smart enough not to put their trailer tag in the picture so you can't hunt them down.

all very good points guys...now im a little worried about it being under powered. thats the problem im having now with my 9.9. its fine with just me and my gear, but when you add another person it wont even think about planing out.

While it may not win any races, it shouldn't be that bad even with another person and gear...might be a bit sluggish on a windy day. But a 25 will get you there and back, I'd keep an eye out on the weather before going and while on the water, sure don't want to get caught in any and be in a hurry getting back. Toss an SE 200 (Hydrofoil for 8-40hp motors)on it and it will plane just fine (or you could vent the prop) also you could swap out props if you find it just isn't cutting it for you.

I run a 36 Prodrive on a similar 16' aluminum. Should be about the same. It will be a little underpowered on a real choppy day or when fully loaded.
Ducks, turkeys, flats fishing. Who has time for golf?
Re: anyone see anything wrong with this?
Take it out on the water and see and feel if it is the "right" boat for you. Test-drive with the seller or your fishin partner on board.

Re: anyone see anything wrong with this?
just talked to the guy and it's still for sale. it DOES still have the original batteries from 2010 in it so that might be something i have to replace soon. he also said the boat was rated for a 50 hp tiller or 70 stick steer...not sure why that would make a difference. anyways, i'd have to drive it to be convinced and albany is a long ride to be let down.

Re: anyone see anything wrong with this?
You ever ran a 70 tiller ? Just think bout it
If you want a redfish rig there it is . Spooky has fish tournaments for years out of a 18 express and a 40hp tiller.

Re: anyone see anything wrong with this?
i've seen 90 horse tillers before...i think
Re: anyone see anything wrong with this?
Tiller is always rated for less than stick.
Stick or remote steer puts you up front and balances things out so you can run a bigger motor...
I think that that rig would run just fine around here.
Its a good price if the motor is in great shape.
Hull is bullet proof.

I think the biggest tiller I've seen was a 115 Yamaha, can you imagine holding on to that. Most of the are commercial work motors
