Happy to see no one is in dire straits and needs help.
Disappointed to see no one else offered help.

Thanks for the offer, anyway. I personally got out when the evacuation was called, and needed no actual physical help except for advice on conditions and when I might return. Still could use info on the latest flood situation and road closures.

Appreciate your kindness and please don't think it doesn't matter that you offered.

I could have used you to go do a roof repair at Mashes Sands for me this afternoon. Just about 40' up, and the wind wreaked havoc on my ladder the whole time. Next time I'm calling you :)

As windy as it was at my house in Wakulla, I can just imagine what it was like down on the coast. I don't know how you managed to get up that ladder, as obviously you are packing one major set of coconuts :smt005 ....I'm just sayin.

I almost answered the call and posted my cell phone, however, my 92 year old Mom requires almost constant assistance these days. Just got home from her house a few minutes ago after cleaning all the debris from her yard. I feel sure there will be more opportunities to help out in the future. :smt006

JT, Just saw your post. Had not one, but two water oaks come down in the pasture at the house late yesterday. It's a good thing horses can run pretty fast and avoided being squished. Had to go to work all day today and just now getting to surfing and checking the site. Trees still where they fell at this point. Anyone who wants some firewood, PM me. You can come cut up what you want and it will be good to go by Winter.

Happy to try to help anyone in need as I'm sure most of the members of this site would. I suspect most just haven't had a chance to check in given the weather and their own challenges. Hope everyone is safe and starting to recover from the storm damage. On a happy note, hopefully fishing will be good this weekend! :D

Note to everyone: If you fish, you are my friend. If you are on this list, you fish. I will always help a friend in need if I can. Just ask.
