These are some photos (about 60) from Live Oak, 50+ miles from the coast... local Fire/Police Dept. has asked businesses in town to close as they are shutting down most of the major roads due to flooding. Downtown area has flooded similar to 1964 when Hurricane Dora came in. Have several neighborhods evacuated, some by boat and it is still raining...

The more I know about something, the more I know that I did not know as much as I thought I knew that I knew.

Some of my tomatoes did that long before Debbie arrived. They were the heireloom brandywine variety. Still made good eating.Dockwilson wrote:Debby's messin with our homes, fish, scallops and now our tomatoes too! Get that B**** outta here!

Sooooo, anyone have any info on the boat launches in St. Marks. Do you think the Fort will be open for launching this weekend? How about the lighthouse?

I know the river is still up on the lower end, might call Shields to see. I'm sure the lighthouse ramp is open now.

I spoke to Dennis at Shields Marina this AM. He said they were fine and open for business. That would seem to indicate that the Fort should be ok too. However........It would be good to get an eyeball on that ramp if someone is down there. The lighthouse has a lot of low lying road so it may require a call to the Refuge folks to see what the story is. The weather is sounding good.....and hot.

My dad said the ramp at the Fort and Shields were both open and fully usable when he checked them as of 2:00 pm today.
