Went on my maiden voyage in my new kayak. I put in about 8am or shortly after. It was windy and the water was cool. I threw only 2 baits. A white spinner bait and a zoom fineness worm in a pumpkin color. I didn't have any luck with the spinner bait. I caught 4 on the worm though. Off the water by 10:30am.

Some of the fingers surrounding the lake have been mowed and the water is up a bit from the storm.

WHERE IS THIS PINEYZ LAKE LOCATED, CAN YA LAUNCH 16 FT. JON BOAT THERE, CAN YOU USE AN OUTBOARD MOTOR IN THE LAKE OR IS IT RESTRICTED TO TROLLING MTRS. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANSWERS TO MY QUESTIONS.

Pa, Piney Z is located in a City of Tallahassee park. No gas motors are allowed. You can use a trolling motor. It is also a hand launch lake. No boat ramp. It's about 100 yards from where you park to the water, down hill. You can't use a trailer to get from the parking area to the water.

Nice fish cody.
Good to heat the rain helped the lake a little bit. It needs it.
Thinkin of hittin piney z next week after work sometime with the kayak.... haven't been there in a few months.
