Outboard repair suggestion

Post by lonesouth »

Working on my dad's whaler with an 84 johnson 30hp. What began as a fuel issue turned into a water pump that required cutting a bolt and then replacing the fuel line. Once we got it running again, after about 10 minutes we lost spark. Who do you recommend for tackling the ignition issue? What can I expect to spend to get it fixed?

Take it to Gus over at "The Shop". He is a nice fella and charges a fair price for his work.
