Sweet ride, even sweeter trout...

Chalk, looks like your regressing back to bass style boat. I sometimes miss that 66mph Ranger with the Mariner Mag150 that I used to tournament fish with.. Sure don't miss the gas milege though. She's a purty one though. The boat, and the Trout!
I can feel your pain. I've been hunting a 25hp-35hp replacement motor for my 14 foot creek boat since January. So far from Albany, I've traveled to Macon, almost to Waycross, Panacea, Gainsville, and just outside Panama City to look at Craigslist motors. They would say 1995 jam up little motor. When I'd get there it would be a 1974 motor with a newer cowling. None were ever honest about what they were advertising. After a few, I was tempted to give some of them a quick period of instruction in Marine Corps close combat technics. Nine attempts of someone from Nigeria, or some other third world nation tried to scam me. Lots of crooks on Craigslist!
I finally just gave up for a while. Glad yours worked out in the end.
