Cedar key

Sat morning brought more wind that called for. Could have fished the windward side of the islands, but with the womenfolk, we decided to fish the lee side. Water was very muddy. We caught trout and ladyfish in 4-6-nothing in great numbers. Tide started rolling again in the afternoon and I caught another trout and had two make a pass and miss, but was outvoted on staying a while longer. Wound up with enough to send some home with one of the couples. Nice weekend in a great house, but the fishing was nuthin spectacular. I did find some really nice looking spots I would like to explore in my aluminum boat in the fall though. Awful redfishy lookin. Just too shallow and the water was pee warm in the shallows.
Ducks, turkeys, flats fishing. Who has time for golf?
