Monday--
Put in at Presnells at 6:30 a.m. , headed south of Blacks Island. Trout bite, while not cold, was not exactly hot either. Ended up catching 4 keepers (16"-19") and 8 throwbacks on 1/4 oz. jigs under a C/T cork. Seemed to like Cotton Candy SWA grubs best. Caught everything in 3' - 5 ' of water. Back at the house by 12:00

Tuesday--
Again on the water out of Presnells by 6:30a.m. Back south of Blacks Island. Trout bite was cold. Finally convinced a 24" trout to bite on a 1/4 oz. jig under C/T cork and a cotton candy SWA in 3 ' of water. Called it a day around 10:00 a.m.

Sat.--
Out of Presnells once more by 6:30 a.m. headed SW of Blacks Island. Trout bite today was much better today. Started catching fish steadily in 3'-5' of water on 1/4 oz. jigs using glow w/chart. tails SWA under a C/T cork and a green and silver top dog jr. Had plenty of fish by 9:30 a.m. decided to call it a day and go play on the beach.
Total for Sat.-
8 keeper trout 16"- 23"
15 throwbacks
too many catfish

The water look great all week long. Very clear with only a spot or two of cloudy water. Lots of floating grass which made topwater fishing difficult. Lots of mullet, sting rays, sea turtles, and bait fish. No scallops on the bay. Only saw a couple of boats looking for scallops, but didn't see or hear of anyone picking any up.

Great 3 days on the bay. Can't wait until next time.

Lots of what we call "bumpers". I think somebody called them moon jellyfish. I've never noticed a problem between them and the fishing.
