I was looking at those as well. Found some 545s units online refurbs at a fair price. Basically the same as the 546s but no nmea 2000 capability. Went to West Marine and started to LOOK at the units and when I compared the 546 to the 720s, it is not even close. West Marine did a price match for me and I paid LESS for my 720s than MSRP on the 546s. Picked up an Airmar Transducer for $75 new on ebay. Good to go.

Damn i dont have enough room for the 720 since its such a big screen. im putting it on a pontoon boat and theres not enough room, that sucks

Bought it at West Marine with a price match. Look at the ram mounts, that's what I used and you would be amazed at what you can come up with even with very limited or little to no room.
