I have had luck with reds and trout around oyster bars.I mostly use the red/white ones, bouncing them slow on the bottom seems to work best. If you find a school of bait fish a fast retrieve works great. I havent had much luck with DOA shrimp but have a buddy in jax that catches everything on them.

I've caught snook and spadefish on the TerrorEyz and they are very effective for tarpon and redfish as well. I just don't throw them very often and I probably should.

The DOA shrimp are my favorite. They were included in the Salt Water Sportsman list of the 25 greatest lures of all time. I also have an upcoming feature in the magazine in which DOA founder Mark Nichols and Jerry McBride give detailed tactics on how to fish them. And they should know. They've caught triple digit numbers of trout exceeding 28 inches, plus snook, tarpon, pompano, snapper, etc. on them. They're not called Deadly On Anything for nothing.

In addition to its realistic look and drop rate, the 1/4-ounce standard shrimp is impregnated with aquaculture grass shrimp, so it does have some scent. Twitch it slowly so it stays just above the top of the grass and it'll produce. With both the shrimp and CAL jerk baits I rig with a mono loop knot to give the lures the best action.

Top TerrorEyz colors are rootbeer with gold flake and black back/silver flake. Chartreuse might work, too. Just haven't tried it.

Good luck and let us know how they work.

I've caught fish on all the colors i've used. Best success has been on the night glow, shrimp or terror eyes.
