Straightening a Bent Boat
Thought I would post some pics of the Alumacraft I got from Dave(Flint River Pirate). Still got some work to do, but at least she sits straight now.
In case any of you are wondering, that is a Frame machine to straighten cars with! HAHAHA, I still might replace the top rail where it got squished down from the tree and us attaching the binder to it. Then I've got to get some more rivets and buck them in.

Great job, when you have the tools you can make it happen

No, I did a lot of that. He just let me use the frame machine and do all the work. He "supervised"....and said when to say when.

RiverRunner, guess you know JT's just joking about someone else using the same line...
"The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank GOD for the United States Marine Corps." Eleanor Roosevelt, 1945

Nice job, RR. Sure is better than beating it with a hammer. You'll have a nice boat when you get it all done.

When you first posted the damaged boat I thought it was time to send it to the recycle yard. Congratulations for sticking with it and doing an impressive job.
