Thinking about taking a short trip over to Carrabelle this weekend coming up and maybe trying out around the AF towers if bay boat weather permits. Any suggestions on a family friendly place to stay ... Read some about the Moorings but web site seems out of date and no one I know has stayed there recently... The slip factor rates highly for this trip. Also which public numbers would be better for some bottom fishing this time of year,my girls have not been out of sight of land yet so thinking we can let them try it before heading over to Mexico Beach a little later this year.
From what I've read should be plenty of FWC support!

We just stayed at the Morings this weekend. Reasonable for what you get. Fished near k tower and got a 4 man limit of gags saturday. Good food at the restaurant around the corner over the bridge by the boat house.

Re: Thinking about Carrabelle
I might try Franklin Reef? You can catch just about anything there.

Thanks Mark, I'm sitting at my laptop entering waypoints into my Homeport software to transfer to my GPS so I'll add it to the list.
