I had friends go yesterday and said it was a bust. I haven't been for a few weeks.

Re: Black Rock scallops
Lots of scallopers out today, water clarity was not good. Not sure how the scallopers did, but the red fishing was good.

Re: Black Rock scallops
Scallops are there, but the water is so dark it is hard to see. I found most of mine walking and stepping on them today. Not very efficinte. We got just over a one person limit for three people. Time to start fishing.

May I ask where Black rock is or do we know iy by other names
Re: Black Rock scallops
I told my son we would go fishing tomorrow and ride over the scallop area to see the clarity. Doesn't sound worth the effort to try for them.

It's at St Marks about 2 miles east of the lighthouse about 1/2 way to shore from the refuge markers.Sea Dawg wrote:May I ask where Black rock is or do we know iy by other names
