DEP meeting in Appalach?

Post by bman »

With the new little one I'm feeling a little out of the loop.
Saw this today-

It always worries me when DEP starts messing around "Protecting Us"
Do you guys know what they are really working on?

Not sure who they will go after barry, The oysterman, the phosphate mines and the fertilizer distributors. One thing for sure, they won't seek out and correct the real problem (what ever that might be). I would think they would start out looking upstream, way upstream.

I have witnessed the direct effects of over fertilization from the sugar industry over a thrity year period in the Florida Everglades, it is real ! And it effects fishing throughout our state.
