Lenco trim tabs
Willing to pay someone who is knowledgeable in Lenco Electronic trim tabs. Mine have not worked since I bought the boat. I do not understand them. I know I have power to the sending unit but not sure what happens after that. Must come to my house to repair if interested. thanks.

Dixie- Sorry to Hijack your thread but maybe this bump will help...
Can someone tell me how I should test the power to my trim tab unit. It will go up but not down, switch the two wires and then it will go down but not up. Can I put the voltage meter in the end of each wire to test the voltage? Or do I ground the voltage meter and then measure each on separately? Should it be 12v?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Lenco trim tabs
Are they Lenco? If yes. I have done some research on them. It sounds like it could be a bad switch. If you call Lenco the Girl will trouble shoot your system with you over the phone. They are very nice. She sent me a complete PDF of my system. It turns out that both of my actuators went bad while the boat was sitting.Joe wrote:Dixie- Sorry to Hijack your thread but maybe this bump will help...
