As a retired gunsmith with almost 30 years experience, and without seeing your rifle, here is an average estimate of the value of your gun. The basic NEF Handi Rifle in 223 caliber sold for $258.00 (Suggested Retail) for the blued version. The Stainless Steel Model Suggested Retail was $270. Used, in 80% condition either gun is bringing about $140.00-$160.00. You can add an additional $40 value on if you have a scope on it. In excelent condition (better than 80%) I would think you should be able to get $175 for it with a scope.
