Conventional Reel Service

Hi Folks,
It is about time for those Grouper and Snapper reels to be serviced.
It is not good for them to sit all winter long with any residual salt and grit in them. The humidity will continue to have a detrimental impact on them.

The reels I take in will be completely disassembled. Then the parts are inspected for wear and function. The parts (except bearings) are put in an ultrasonic cleaner and then rinsed and dried thoroughly. This removes all the old grease and oil and any salt and grit. I then reassemble the reel with a proper amount of grease and oil where needed and your reel will be ready when you are.
Get your reels in soon. I am analysing my books and it looks like the rise in cost of business may require me to raise my prices a little after the first of the year.

Glad to hear it Don. I am just sorry that our boat didn't perform as well for the take a kid fishing day.
