Lanark Reds 10/20/2012
On Saturday my son and I had to go open up our hunting camp for the season. It's only a few miles north of Carabelle so I figured we might as well take the Tidewater 1800 with us and head for the water when we were done. We planned to fish the late afternoon tide change. On our way thru Carabelle we picked up some live shrimp and arrived at the Lanark ramp around 4:30 pm. We left the ramp without much water under the boat. We ran to a spot we had never really fished before but had heard good things about. Not much action for the first first hour our two but when the tide finally turned and the water came in, the bite was on. We were treated to both a beautiful sunset and a great redfish bite. We arrived back at the dock at dark just darkness fell. What a great afternoon/evening!
