THAT BROUGHT BACK SOME MEMORIES I WOULD LIKE TO FORGET BUT THEY STILL LINGER. THAT SQUADRON OF AVENGERS LOOKED VERY FAMILIAR. OUR OLD LEATHER HEAD GEAR WOULD NOT DO MUCH PROTECTING AND THEY MADE YA SWEAT A LOT. THE OLDER TBF DID NOT HAVE THE EXTRA FUEL TANKS IN THE WING, WE COOULD GET ABOUT 400 MILES OUT OF THE TANKS IN THE WING AND THEN YA BETTER FIND A SPOT TO SET HER DOWN.

THE GREAT GENERATION salute2
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
