NFGFC November 3rd Tournament Results

The November Tournament was held out of JR’S Aucilla Store. The last NFGFC tournament of the year started off foggy and the fog stayed around until late morning. Nevertheless, quality slot trout were brought to weigh-in.

1st place was taken by the team of Steve Hobbs, Brian Showman and Matt Cramer w/ an impressive five slot fish that weighed 11.55 lbs. winning them $165.00. They also cleaned up by winning the big red and combo side pots with a 26” 7.48 lb red fish for $200.00 and a combo weight of 10.15 lbs winning them an extra $80.00. Great job!

2nd place team of Seth Oaks and Cody Solburg weighed in 5 slot fish for a total of 11.13 lbs winning $95.00. They also caught a 2.86 lb slot trout that took largest slot trout side pot. This won them $130.00.

3rd place team of Rick Bushatz, Brad Castleberry and Stephen Warnock weighed five slot fish for a total of 10.60 lbs winning them $65.00.

Kevin’s Fine Guns and Sporting Goods $50 gift certificate was won by Gary Droze w/ a 3.01 lb Flounder.

A BIG Thank you to all who participated and congratulations to those that did well!

It was Chuck Collins who fished with Jumptrout and Jeff Trent, not Chuck Simpson.

Had a great time, and a great turnout for the last one of the year. JR expressed his sincere thanks to us all being there when I paid him for the food.

We camped at Newport and rode the St. Marks on Sunday. Caught a few small snappers up in the river, but not much else. Watched a squirrel jump in on one side of the river and swim all the way across.
