TROUT, REDS, FLOUNDER

Post by reelbad »

The boys from Capital City Trailers got on the water yesterday 11/10/12 for a little bit of fishing and it turned out to be a banner day. We went out of Econfina at sunrise and had beautiful weather and good water to run in with just a slight chop. We started catching good trout from the time we stopped on the first hole until the time we left about 12:45. We would fish in one area for a while then move to a new spot and fish that a while before moving on again. Out of all the trout we caught only two were under 15", the rest were from 18 to twenty with three in the twenty four inch range. Three legal reds, only kept the two largest, one flounder that being the first fish of the day. We released several large trout well over twenty after we had our three man limit. All caught on jerk baits and suspending plugs. The water is starting to clear a little west of the Econfina. I will try to get JT the pictures and see if he will post them for me.
