Wife and I went north out of Keaton Friday morning. First stop my wife boated two keeper trout. Looked for better area with no luck. Came back to first stop where she limited out by ten. Then I hit the Mother Lobe and pulled one in every cast for about eight cast in a row. Wife took off fish, measured and cheered. End of fray saw my numbers go up to four keepers with one a little over twenty inches. Around noon, she finished off our limit with number ten as I pulled in number eleven a twenty one and three quarters incher.
Now we have one over the limit. Kind of hard to let one get away!
Bait of the day was a new gulp called Midnight Tiger I had purchased at end of last trip. Stopped by Wilson's on the way home and he was out. May be the next big winner bait?
