Just came in from studying fish at UGA for thanksgiving bread and decided to do a little real fishing. After starting the week with a good duck hunt it was time to get out on the water. Water tempature was chilly!!! We started out at daybreak poking around the oysters with some big payoffs. We landed our first five fish by 7:30 all on hardbaits: Topwater, crankbaits, etc... After the sun got good and up we headed across the bay out to another set of oyster bars and there we battled our way through the tide to finish our limit of trout. We added a couple reds and at 9:30 we had all of our fish we were gonna keep on the day. We tried to add the last two reds to finish off the limit but instead we chewed through another 3 limits of trout and couldn't quite do it. It was a good time and I'll be back after it tomorrow at a different venue!!
Got some pics....
