Aucilla 11/29

Post by Bonecracker »

Dropped the boat in the water yesterday at 12:30 and ran out of Econfina in hopes of finding the trout bite as hot as last time I fished 2 weeks ago. Bout had to run over some folks just trying to get out of the river as they were 6/7 boats anchored up fishin some of the holes. I was hopin the trout were still out in the flats and not in the river so I ran down to Aucilla and started working my normal flats in 3-4 ft of water and we found nothing. Water temp was 62 deg with light wind and our big expectations were crumbling!! :smt005 Moved 3 more times and no trout wanted to play but we did pick up a couple of nice flounder!! Ran up close to shore line and started working the points, banks, and some of the larger creeks and we picked up a nice 22" redfish and one large 21" trout which we relased. Kind of a sucky fishin day but the weather was nice, drinks were cold, and the fellowship was good. :-D :-D :D

Beats working, rite??
