SEC Championship

Post by reelbad »

Dawgs played good, Bama played a little better. Running game was on for Bama in the second half. Both teams left it all on the field. The hit on Murray should have been flagged.

Looks like tonight we were calling the shots from the Les Miles Clock Management book. We had a shot at it and couldn't execute. At least the Packers here in Moultrie are still playing :-D

A DAMN great GAME  the shot on Murray could have turned the tide :-D but everyone knows that the Tide is the chosen one  Either way, the SEC will have another Championship under their belt at the end of the season  THE SOUTH RULES WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO GIVEN IT ALL "be it on the field or in the battle"

That was THE national championship game. In the end, bama's offensive line won that game in the 2nd half. They ate so much clock that Georgia didn't have time to smack them back. It was coming, but Conley instinctively caught the ball when he should have batted it down. Just wasn't our night. I don't think you will get Saban to hollar how bama rules. He knows how lucky they were to get out of there with a win.
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

Best game I've seen all year by far!! I've got a sore throat and no fignernails to prove it.... There were a couple of bad / missed calls on both sides IMO...The shot on Murray should have been called but it only would have cost Bama 15 yards and with 2 minutes left in the 4th Bama intercepted the deflected ball .......the game would have been over then... Both teams played their hearts out! I had predicted Bama by 3 but I had my doubts for a full two hours.... Great game....those Dawgs were awesome.

Well, after the game I was wore out. Best college ball I have seen all year. The shot on Murray should have been flagged and the Alabama player expelled from the game. Shots like that could end a career or a life.
Congrats to Bama for the win.

I think I heard them say that the player with the hit on Murray could be made to sit out of the next game pending review of the play. You would think the coach could ask for a review of the hit on the spot, they review everything else.

I agree that BAMA won it with the strong running game in the 2nd half. I was proud of the Dawgs, a lot of haters didn't give UGA a chance. They showed up and played a great game against a great team. I think the guy that took the CHEAP shot on Murray should be stood up and hit by a Mack truck ( I hate cheap shot's ). But it is what it is, I will pull for the Tide to whip ND....Go SEC !
