What else do you do when it's almost record high temps (mid 70's) in December with a steady 14 mph wind and gusts in the 20's? FISH!!!!
I couldn't let this day get away without hitting the water for a few hours. Fought the wind all morning and finally connected on a couple of little gold nuggets!
Saw lots of tail this morning before the cloud cover broke off! Cool sight!

Actually a little less than that... I'd say around 1.5hrs or a little less.
It is Bass country for sure! They don't know what they're missing!! I do get some weird looks at the ramp and on the way to the lake..... People pointing and yaking it up..... There was a guy that just moved up here from Louisiana and he was ribbing me about it..... "There's no Redfish in this lake"....
