Had the same thing done on Oct 30th at TOC. Hang in there and you'll be fine.

HEY WALDO, WHAT TIN CAN SAID, BE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE DOC'S ORDERS AND EVERYTHING WILL BE O.K.
DON'T PICK UP ANYTHING OVER 2 POUNDS FOR AT LEAST A WEEK, I DID THIS BACK IN 1985 AND STILL HAVE NOT HAD ANY TROUBLE.

Morning Folks :smt006

Take care wevans, they are going to give you some strong pain meds. Don't fool yourself into thinking it's ok to "catch-up" on things. Be sure follow the doc's instructions to the letter and you'll have a much more enjoyable recovery. Hope your recovery goes well

Good Tuesday morning to all you gents and ladies out there. I went to Ecofina yesterday. Water clear. Only caught fish in the darker water near the mouth of the river. Caught several too short. Came home with three nice trout. Beautiful day on the water. Little to no wind and enough water to get in and out. Have a good end to 2012 and look forward to 2013 and fishing on your mind. Might be interested in new boat. Must sell one first. 2007 Bass Tracker, Procrappie 175, 50 HP, 2 stroke, new water pump, new batteries and new spare tire, with gavashield trailer. Very low hours on Mtr. Asking $8500.00. Questions or otherwise call 229-378-0912. Thanks. Daybreak

Wevans -- brother-in-law is going in for his second shoulder surgery --- didn't listen to the doctor his first "go round' - five years ago and he has s-l-o-w-l-y been gettin worse each day, until he couldn't even lift his hand to shake hands with someone!!! All from improper recovery -- felt so good after his first surgery, he thought he could do anything. Some of the instructions sound crazy, but they work - (?)- if you follow them. I am looking forward to fishing with my BIL in the future -- when he recovers and can cast again !!!

What Charlie said... Been 5 weeks since my surgery and I'm not ready to start lifting even a pound yet. Just working on range of motion and taking it SLOW. Too much, too soon too fast results in a trip back to the table. Nah, I'll pass thank you.

The second surgery requires them to sew the muscle to the bone -- drill holes prior to the sewing job!! Results in a long recovery period and MORE intense physical therapy and twice as restrictive -- in other words a PITA
