Wanted to goto further east, but fuel line issues kept me close to the house...going to have to change fuel lines - dam you ethanol!
Lowtide around 0830 - it was late didn't turn until 1130 - ran close to the ICW fished for a couple of hours with few sightings and little bait.
Finally made a big move west and found good bottom and bait. Slowly creep up onto the flat and was greeted with tailing redfish waving me in for some fun.
Ended up catching 6 reds, missed a bunch more...spooked even more than that.
Short report - got them on weightless jerkbaits.

Man, you always have the best photos. Really enjoy hearing about they're biting back in my hometown.

Trolling motor & drift.....had 2 fish painfully slow, real quiet....fished 100 yards for 2 hours to put it in perspective

You've never fished that slow in your life.

Yeah I know it seems hard to believe, I have slowed down in my old age
Reality is that I couldn't go any further down the bank nor could the fish, so I turned around and followed them
