Lake Carr is straight up Meridian Road. If you're coming from Tallahassee the road that leads to the ramp is right before you get to the Bannerman Road and Meridian intersection. There is a small boat ramp sign but if you blink you'll miss it. I have a map that says there are two ramps on Lake Carr. NOT TRUE. You want the ramp down Cedar Hill Rd. There is a decent looking ramp out there; but, I'm not sure how far the ramp goes out. Might be a little nervous about launching a bass boat. Never tried to launch anything out there and haven't been there in probably six months to check it out. I've never fished there; but, always see several fish swimming around the boat ramp and pier.

Last time I fished Carr the weeds were really bad in it.But caught a few bass on top water. On the boat ramp side on the far east end of the lake there is a small pocket that opens up that always was goog fishing in there. The lake is plenty big for a bass boat but I wouldn't go running wide open.Been alittle while since I fished it maybe the grass is down some.
