Any opinions

Any opinions other than it's flat bottom and will beat the bejesus out of me? I don't need all my teeth. Seems like a reasonable price; but, I ain't real smart. I would appreciate opinions of the experts and everyone else's .02... I've never even seen a Polar up close so I don't know if it's even worth considering; but, I'm getting pretty desperate for a boat. With a little one on the way, the budget just got a lot tighter.

I was thinking about one those awhile back. They have a Shallow water series or somethinh like that..I saw a 17 that I liked a few months back....

It has a slight v bottom and a forward step chine....A good no frills fishing machine......Check boattraderonline.com to compare prices....

Don't commit to nothing you haven't checked out personally....lay your hands on it.... 8)

There are a bunch of those Polars around Homosassa.

I think you could get a new 19' Carolina skiff for about that much money, not with the F115 though. That motor new would cost at least $8,000 in the box.

The Polar has (or had) wooden stringers, I don't think there is anything wrong with that but some folks do.
