WIND

Post by basstracker93 »

Went out of St. Marks today hoping to get a few keepers even though we had lots of rain water was clear. Went out East of light house and tried for couple of hours but wind was terrible it even picked up worse later in the day and my anchors wouldnt even hold her still. Lesson learned when you dont see lots of boats at the landing go home. 8)

Thanks for the report. You might want to check the wind forecast but a day on the water is worth something. We've all been there, done that and lived to tell it. After a few turns we usually get a little wiser but sometimes it worth it to give it a try! Heck, it adds a little excitement to life! Glad you got to go and give us a report. I stayed home but you had more fun!

Lesson #2 if there are no boats or empty trailers at the ramp, there is severe weather coming your direction.
