Good report. We went today and fished the river, did OK. The most fish I have ever seen up river in winter.

Based on your report, I kayaked out there and freelined mudminnows & finger mullet just north of the Purdom Plant during early incoming tide today. Took just one hour to get 5 keeper seatrout trout, one big sandtrout, and a nice mangrove snapper. Worth it it in terms of fresh fish for the family, but not peace of mind. Constant boat traffic reminded me of recent holiday bumper-to-bumper travel on I-75. This is not the place to be during the winter if you are seeking solitude.
