Roasting/Cooking Bags

Post by SS-342 »

I'm just getting into using roasting/cooking bags. My first thoughts were for cooking game: deer, rabbit. squirrel, dove, quail.

Has anyone used them to cook fish?

Welcome some discussion on this subject along with recipes.evaluations and tips.

Thank you!

Fish cooks faster than other foods, I think I would just use parchment paper for that and leave the bags for the other uses. You can find some good recipies online.

Sounds like good advice.

I was really curious if anyone cooks fish that way and if it was worth eating. I keep believing there is something better out there I have not tried. Seems the roasting bag would be good for cooking game: deer, rabbit, squirrel, coon, dove and quail? One response out of fifty hits tells me something.

Thank you.
