I'm no expert, but here are a few.

Pros & cons depending on perspective and sponsors.
There's a lot of us.
We spend money on tackle not boats.
Our tourny's are usually catch, photo & release.
We don't have a livewell.
If there are lots of us participating, we need to be able to launch from many places.
We hold tourny's when boaters cancel because of weather.
Casttheflats always wins.
We smell bad, mostly like fish.:)

No crying from the plastic navy. Unless we hook into a Blue Whale! We will be ready.

Sounds good.

I brought this up for 2 reasons:
1. You will loose a few folks if you expect them to kill a trophy trout. I personally shed a tear. Then go home and fry up some 18 -20 inchers.
2. Kayakers can't cull and I'm quite sure many of the boaters will. Legal or illegal? If a kayaker puts one 20+ inch trout in the yak he is done. Again this wouldn't be a problem with redfish.

I can't understand why boaters haven't embraced the photo and release concept. Is it easier to cheat or what?
