Lanark 1-27

Post by slowroller »

Launched at 10 am to not much water. Idled out and shot east to Turkey point as the sun started heat up fast.Threw some Spooks and spoons in 1-2 foot of water and wasnt long before the bite turned on.21 inch trout was first in the boat.Got on quite a few more and we too had a visit from a bull shark in 2' of water that chased my chuggin spook and ate it at the boat and cruised on. He was 6-8 ft and hungry.Last stop they would not eat a plug so out came the mullet.Constant bite for last 2 hours.Brought home 4 reds(22-26) and 3 trout(18,19,20). Great day on the water. :beer

Nice report. Sunday I was dog hunting, sweating in the heat of the day and thinking to myself....... why I am not down in Lanark fishing today.

Hey bud! Earlier this week you had some pics with this report. I was going to show them to my Pops, but they aren't on here anymore. What's up with that? Good report btw, keep them coming.

There were some obvious landmarks in the photos. My guess is that he didn't want to see anyone in his spot when he went out next.

Those fish are long gone from these sacred holes and landmarks. Only a couple days a year can you find em there.
