That is really frustrating to see and know that such destruction occurs. It is idiotical. :smt011

If a private individual kills any animals or destroys habitat while clearing land or sea,the job gets shut down and fines are levied............10,000 pounds of red snapper killed at one oil well site!!! Destroying habitat and a fish species that you all claim we will be allowed to fish for only 27 days due to over fishing by rod and reel????? Every other species of fish in the general area including goliath grouper ,cobia, amberjack and anything else that swims dies from the removal of an unused oil rig platform???????? GET REAL!!!!!!!!! Somebody needs to go to jail!

I actually heard back from Charlene Ponce that Gulf Council wasn't organization responsible for the rig destruction program I responded that they are a fisheries management council and these contractors are killing fish! That we couldn't go out and send explosives overboard killing thousands of fish with out retribution from some LEO! I also continued on about the suspected over fishing and crazy short regulations enacted this year of a otherwise healthy population of snapper and consequenses it has on the communities along the coast. I will email any of you a copy if you desire, I also found this and recognize many names on here THANK YOU all!!
