While I've been tempted to buy one to use on the step kids and ma-in-law, this will just be for the two dogs. The underground fence I've got in Pelham works great for the dogs. I don't have a fence on the yard in Moultrie and our neighbors dog who we affectionately call Box Of Rocks has taught them to chase cars. Box Of Rocks has already nearly been killed once when he got run over trying to chase a car from the front end of the car... He didn't learn and now my two are picking up the habit. I yell and they run back to their beds and look really guilty but this and a couple of tail tanning sessions hasn't worked.
I'm afraid one will get hit, plus they are barking at the cars, particularly the newpaper deliverer at night. I hate to spend $100 or so on a collar that will only be used a couple of times if it is as effective as the fence is. I was hoping maybe someone in the area had one I could borrow for a week or two. I promise not to put it on the kids...
