Hope you make it out but I'd keep an eye on the Windcast. It may not calm down as quick as they are forecast'n

FRIDAY
WEST WIND 15 KNOTS BECOMING NORTHWEST EARLY. SEAS 3 TO 4 FEET.
PROTECTED WATERS A MODERATE CHOP. CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS...ENDING WITH THE WIND SHIFT.

FRIDAY NIGHT
NORTHEAST WIND 10 TO 15 KNOTS. SEAS 2 TO 3 FEET.
PROTECTED WATERS A LIGHT TO MODERATE CHOP.

SATURDAY
NORTHEAST WIND 10 TO 15 KNOTS. SEAS 2 TO 3 FEET. PROTECTED
WATERS A LIGHT TO MODERATE CHOP.

PinfishKing,
Watch the weather closely, they just updated Saturday to 15 kts out of the East, 3 to 5 seas :x I think this summer cold front is going to make it quite bumpy for going offshore.
As far as the bite, the gag grouper are still around but they just don't seem to be as hungry as the red's. Of course watch your bag limit of red grouper in federal waters, I've talked to 2 different people who have been approached by FWC in federal waters this past week.
Good Luck,
