Re: Got a new toy
The newest thing now are the wood burning "INSULATED" water cookers. My buddy who cooks with Myron Mixon has just bought one. His un-insulated one would burn about $65.00 in wood per cook -- regardless if he was cooking two butts, or twenty. I don't know how much better his insulated one is on fuel, but thats darn expensive to operate. But the idea with the insulated fire box isn't for economy, it produces a better product because it runs at a constant temperature. That is why the Green Egg produces consistantly great food. I am in the process of cleaning up my portable Broaster, used to use it at tailgates. Another machine that produces great food everytime..

All this bbq talk got me craving some bbq. Since it's not a good fishing day, I fired up both EGGS and am smoking some ribs and a butt. Can't wait for dinner!

Re: Got a new toy
So, I've been on the hunt for a good mustard sauce. I think I've tried everyone I could in the area. Once I found one that was made in Monticello, but can't find it now. It was very good. So, with the ribs and butt smoking this weekend, I thought I'd try another recipe, especially when it's raining. Read the reviews and thought I would give it a try. This one is pretty darn good.

A bit of spice, but I like spicy. I doubled the recipe and added a little more this and that. It was great on the pulled pork!

Looks delicious!
Hammaknockers has a great mustard sauce but I'm not sure what all is in it.

Where do you get it? I used to buy Sonny's when they sold it in the bottle, but they don't anymore. I really want something like a Sonny's mustard sauce, but can't find anything close. Actually that sauce from Monticello was the bomb, but can't find it either. Much prefer mustard sauce over the sweet stuff.
