Asking for your best wishes and prayers
I would like to ask that you think about my Son in law, SSG Jeff Harman, as he is about to be deployed to Afganastan. This will be his fourth deployment with the Third Infantry Division, having been to Iraq 3 times. He has been a Drill Seargent at Fort Benning training our young soilders for the past 3 years and has a total of eighteen years serving his country. He and many of his fellow soilders are very worried about this deployment because of the lack of military funding and the cut backs. I was told that they will not be sending over all of the troops that are needed or could possibly need to accomplish the mission which could be even more dangerous to the few being sent. He will be leaving Fort Stewart, Hunter Army Airfield tomorrow night.

My family's prayers will be with him. My dad and stepdad are retired mililtary and both served several tours in Vietnam. I know how you will worry every day for his safe return. Thank you so much for his service! God speed for his safe return home!

Got a chance to hang out with Jeff a couple of weeks ago, great guy. Come on back soon Jeff and we'll go on that fishing trip as promised.
