2007 115 hp Mercury Optimax

Had a great call from my marine mechanic about my power head going in my Mercury. Pretty much for the cost of repairs it would be cheaper changing out. I'm thinking about re-powering my boat with the new E-Tech HO 135 hp two stroke. Anyone out there heard anything about these motors? Any advise would help before I take the plunge for a new one.

It's new, so doubt anyone has one. Unless a small price difference is holding you back, the 150HO is same weight, you might as well get that.

The etecs are good motors though.
