While your looking Pa. You may want to look for a Rem 870 youth model in 20 gauge. The stock is set up for youngsters. Someone may have one laying around that taught their kids to shoot with. Also the shells would be half the cost of 410's.

By the way PA, it is no longer known as a 410 double barrel. Now, it is a 410 Biden!

I know cash is tight, but I would suggest a 28 gauge. Much more versatile and the same or less kick. Buy an adult model and an extra stock, cut one stock down. Then when he grows up he can continue to use the gun. I've got a remington 1100 28 gauge that would be the cat's meow for this. I got mine from Heath at SGO.
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!
